ENHANCING SUSTAINABLE AND AGROCHEMICAL FREE
AGRICULTURE IN NEPAL

ABOUT THE PROJECT

"Youth Movement for Sustainable Agriculture"

We aim to promote agro-chemical-free and sustainable agriculture practices in Nepal. We strive to increase awareness about the detrimental impacts of synthetic chemicals on both human health and the environment. Additionally, we are dedicated to facilitating a transition to organic farming by equipping farmers with reliable, authentic, and effective alternatives to agrochemicals. In order to attain our goal, we will exclusively conduct the major initiatives in five districts of Nepal, benefiting 375 farmers and 750 secondary students directly.

Expected Outcomes

Promotion of safe and responsible use of Agrochemicals among farmers
Enhanced soil health via vermicompost and its commercialization
Efficient waste segregation and utilisation at school and community levels
Promotion of urban rooftop farming practices for increased adoption
