Amina Batool is a dedicated agricultural scientist with over eight years of experience in plant breeding and genetics. Her work has focused on developing climate-resilient, high-yielding, and disease-resistant crop varieties, particularly wheat, sorghum, millet, chickpea, and potato. She has successfully led research programs integrating advanced breeding techniques, genome editing, and sustainable agricultural practices to improve food security.
Passionate about transforming Pakistan’s agriculture sector, she is committed to bridging science and sustainability by introducing innovative solutions such as agrivoltaics and speed breeding. Her mission is to empower farmers, promote eco-friendly agronomic practices, and advocate for policies that drive agricultural resilience. Through her research and outreach efforts, she aims to create sustainable food systems that combat climate change and enhance rural livelihoods.
