Asif Mahmud Bin Goni is a young climate and social activist, living in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at BRAC University. He initiates projects that bring healthy and significant changes in the community driven by SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 13. ‘Moner Alo’ offers mental health peer counseling services to local youth; ‘Project Nodi’ provides digital and emotional literacy education for children in river communities remote from urban centers. His Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award shows dedication through perseverance.
OMLAS Experience: “Selected as one of 150 fellows from 24 countries for the OMLAS Fellowship 2025, I engaged in transformative learning on SDGs and youth leadership. OMLAS has improved his leadership skills as well as teamwork and communication skills. It inspired him to think critically for responsible leadership in the future.”
