Biswash Praja comes from a Indigenous Chepang community in Nepal. He bridges academia and grassroots work, championing Indigenous voices in policy, conservation, and climate equity. He holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Lincoln (2018) and is currently pursuing an MPhil at Kathmandu University School of Education. He blends academic excellence with active engagement in social and environmental justice. His thematic interests include Free, Prior & Informed Consent (FPIC), Indigenous epistemologies, and rights-based conservation.
