Husnulmubarak Mustafa, holds a bachelor's degree in English literature and excels in public speaking, journalism, and monitoring. He is actively involved in the OMLAS Fellowship 2024 and serves as a member of UNFCCC-YOUNGO in climate peace and security. Additionally, he is the founder of HopeWave, a platform that provides vocational training and workshops to inspire youth and promote hope for the future. In his community in Afghanistan, a pressing challenge looms large: the abandonment of educated youth. The brain drain in Afghanistan is exacerbated by several factors, including a dearth of quality education, limited job opportunities, mental issues, and human rights concerns. This challenge threatens the nation’s development.
To tackle this challenge, he aims to initiate specialized training programs through OMLAS Project “Stay and Thrive”. The project aims to enhance quality education, equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in their chosen fields. Additionally, by providing entrepreneurship support to empower youths to create their own opportunities, "Stay and Thrive" aims to create a ripple effect of positive change throughout all of Afghanistan, not just retaining talent but also fostering widespread positive impact across the nation. By investing in education, entrepreneurship, and mental well-being, the project aims to nurture a generation of leaders to drive progress across the nation. This initiative aligns with SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
