Khin Myat Noe is deeply passionate about sustainable development, particularly in the areas of mental health (SDG 3: Good health and well-being) and conserving our planet's land and ecosystems (SDG 15: Life on land). Even though she is at the start of her professional journey in these fields, her commitment to making a difference is strong.
While she may not have direct experience yet, she brings a solid foundation in research, data analysis, and community outreach. She’s constantly learning, attending workshops, and volunteering to build the skills and knowledge she needs to make a tangible impact. In her spare time, she loves volunteering at mental health awareness events, suicide helplines, peer support helplines, and similar initiatives.
In her final year of her Bachelor's degree, she had the opportunity to work on sustainability with the Green Society for Future Generations as part of the Life Value Project. Alongside her friends, she got her hands dirty learning about organic plants and vegetables, and why they matter for both health and the planet. They didn’t just study; they planted, nurtured, and shared their knowledge with children at school.
These experiences not only fuel her passion but also remind her of the importance of community and collaboration in driving change. She’s excited to connect with others who share these passions and to find opportunities where she can contribute, learn, and grow. Let's work together to promote mental health and protect our planet.
