Mohanish is an international science communication award winner whose experience includes handling public relation activities around Prime Minister's Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PMSTIAC) at the Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, science policy training at SPRU (University of Sussex, UK), diaspora diplomacy as National President of the UK's largest student body representing Indian students (NISAU UK), socio-educational work as founder of VaigyanikJi Foundation, and research fellowship from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and European Research Council.

He has officially represented India at Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Germany) and Asian Science Camp (South Korea) as fellow of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

OMLAS Project: Coming from Chittorgarh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan, India, he has always been deeply connected to his cultural heritage. That's why he has passion about preserving the cultural heritage, specifically the priceless indigenous knowledge of tribal communities. Understanding the urgency to conserve Indigenous knowledge from its rapid extinction, he has conceptualised a project called "RADIKAL: Research, Advancement, and Documentation of Indigenous Knowledge for Alternative Livelihoods".

RADIKAL is a three-tier actionable, transformative solution to ensure Indigenous knowledge safeguards cultural heritage (SDG 11.4) and informs sustainable practices preserving biodiversity (SDG 15.2, 14.2), fostering climate-resilient food systems (SDG 2.1) and mitigating climate change impacts (SDG 13.2).
