Omlas Project: Among few of her project ideas three of them are presented below:
Project idea 1: “Girls, STEM and Climate Change”, We envision a future where all children are equipped with tools, mindsets, and skills to collectively mitigate the climate crisis, promote climate justice, and build resilience in the face of climate change. To realize this vision, the initiative aims to infuse climate education throughout the education system by developing a critical mass of teachers, students, and youth leaders who foster climate-mindedness, action, and resilience in rising generations, and by reorienting teaching and learning towards this purpose. To address the global climate education and leadership gap, she aims to focus on three key areas: ensuring network teachers are ready; developing a critical mass of inter-connected youth leaders; and elevating network voices and perspectives.
Project 2: "Marketing for Sustainable Development" equips marketing students with the expertise to drive sustainable projects. Through hands-on training led by industry experts, participants collaborate with agricultural SMEs and NGOs. They learn to craft impactful marketing strategies that promote sustainability and social responsibility. By empowering youth to leverage their marketing acumen for social good, the project creates a new generation of changemakers poised to drive positive change in agriculture and beyond.
Project 3: The “NGO Traineeship project” aims to empower youth to chart their career paths while fostering community impact. Through immersive experiences, participants gain insights into NGO operations both locally and internationally. Expert-led training equips them with vital skills in project management, communication, and professional development. By delving into diverse sectors such as education and the environment, trainees expand their horizons and networks.
