His new venture, the OMLAS Project, aims to address the Indian farming community and pioneer carbon trading in Maharashtra which leads to sustainable farmer practices in India, , focusing on reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental conservation. The project tackles hindrances in carbon trading, such as the lack of standardized protocols, limited farmer participation, and inadequate involvement of farmers in carbon trading activities. Inadequate Monitoring and Verification Systems includes insufficient systems for accurate tracking and verification. Interventions for Enhanced Carbon Trading include implementing blockchain technology, engaging with local farmer cooperatives, and developing user-friendly monitoring tools.
