Yubraj Khanal from Nepal is an Agriculture Science graduate passionate about leveraging technology to transform Nepal’s agricultural landscape. Witnessing the hardships faced by those in the countryside particularly individuals who spend their entire youth in the fields just to feed the world has always inspired him to pursue agriculture and its transformation.
Currently, he is working with aQysta Nepal Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Sourcing Officer. The organization partners with smallholder farmers, sharing benefits and risks to turn their small farms into thriving businesses that care for water, energy, and soil. They provide farmers with everything they need to grow their farms into profitable, resilient, and ecologically sustainable enterprises.
Through a combination of scientific expertise and a problem-solving mindset, he aims to create impactful solutions that address real-world challenges whether through digital tools for farmers or innovative postharvest management techniques.He works on empowering rural communities, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring that Nepal’s agricultural sector thrives in an increasingly digital world.
With a deep appreciation for both traditional knowledge and modern advancements, he envisions a future where technology and agriculture seamlessly integrate for a more resilient, productive, and profitable farming ecosystem.
